Tolip Golden Plaza Hotel New Cairo, New Cairo

The hotel rooms were not clean enough, and the noise from the paddle ball courts kept me up until 2 am, but the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The location is very good, with plenty of dining options nearby, although some maintenance issues needed attention. The dining experience was below expectations, but overall, my stay was enjoyable.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms were okay, although there were some stains on the carpet. Above the ballrooms, everything was clean and tidy throughout my stay. The location was convenient as it was very close to a shopping mall, but ordering from Talabat or Uber was a bit troublesome. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to Mr Ehab, Hossam the Housekeeper of the 9th floor, and Tharwat. The dining options were good in general, although coffee was not included. Overall, a decent value for money stay.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the location was excellent, being very close to City Stars mall, but on the other hand, some aspects like room temperature left much to be desired. The service was exceptional, particularly the hospitality shown by Mr Refaat, Mr Mostafa, and Mr Romany, yet communication with Uber drivers was a bit challenging due to the location. The dining options were decent with a good variety, although not ideal for all palates.

The hotel rooms are very clean but quite small. They look like new, but my room was located at the end of the corridor, which was continually left open, and the wheel bins were visible, with an unpleasant smell seeping through.

The dining experience lacked variety, with only basic options available, but the facilities were good overall.

The price was reasonable for the value offered, but some facilities like the furniture and towel covers were very old.
